The Coffee Roaster was established in 1987 by Richard Healy. After returning from living in Central America for three years Dick was frustrated by the lack of availability of the fine estate coffees he had tasted in Central America. The Coffee Roaster had a goal in the beginning, which continues today, to purchase and roast only the very finest coffee from distinguished farms throughout the world. Following that tradition the new owners, Tracy Meehan and her daughter Cassidy are dedicated to the same goal.
We roast our coffee almost daily in very small batches on the original Diedrich 12 kilo roaster. We purchase all of our green coffee from the most respected coffee brokers in the country. Our commitment is simple. We pledge to offer our customers the finest, freshest and most meticulously roasted coffee available anywhere at any price. If you are ever, at any time, not completely satisfied with our coffee, you may return it for a full refund or exchange.
If you can't visit us at the store, you can now order your coffee directly from this site or by calling the store. Either way, your order will be shipped by the next business day or the day of the order if possible.
